BREAD CLASSES
"I am going to learn to make bread tomorrow. So you may imagine me with my sleeves rolled up, mixing flour, milk, saleratus, etc., with a deal of grace. I advise you if you don't know how to make the staff of life to learn with dispatch."
- Emily Dickinson
Fresh-made Pretzels (aka Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan)
This class will make wonderful fresh-made pretzels... those big ones with coarse sea salt... like you get at country fairs and street vendors. Using a proven recipe and techniques from his own book, the instructor will teach students how to make the dough, shape the pretzels, and then boil and bake them just like they do in Bavaria. We guarantee you'll have fun! This is a “participation type” course; each student will take home a batch of warm pretzels fresh-from-the-oven. $3 materials fee is payable to the instructor.1 session:
• Tuesday evening - Oct 5 - 6:30 to 9PM
