BREAD CLASSES
"I am going to learn to make bread tomorrow. So you may imagine me with my sleeves rolled up, mixing flour, milk, saleratus, etc., with a deal of grace. I advise you if you don't know how to make the staff of life to learn with dispatch."
- Emily Dickinson
International Breads
This popular course will take you on whirlwind tour of international breads for a lot less dough than your travel agent! Each week we will visit a different country and explore the diversity that makes this course so much fun. The instructor will help beginners overcome yeast anxiety and expose seasoned bakers to several new recipes and techniques. This is a “participation type” course; each student will take home a loaf of bread or batch of goodies fresh-from-the-oven. We guarantee you'll have fun on this trip, and you won't even need a passport! Session count varies by term.
Note: When offered in multiple parts, you do not need to take part 1 to take part 2. Each part is run as a separate stand-alone course. We do not repeat recipes, so to visit the most countries and explore the widest variety of breads you would certainly benefit from taking both parts!
