BREAD CLASSES
"I am going to learn to make bread tomorrow. So you may imagine me with my sleeves rolled up, mixing flour, milk, saleratus, etc., with a deal of grace. I advise you if you don't know how to make the staff of life to learn with dispatch."
- Emily Dickinson
Great Sandwich Breads
This new course will focus on 4 really useful breads suitable for slicing and making wonderful sandwiches. We'll cover a nice selection of favorites like a sturdy "farmhouse" white, flavorful whole wheat, hearty oat & flax (a family favorite), and perhaps a rye or other specialty bread like Middle Eastern pita pockets.
This is a “participation type” course; each student will take home a loaf of bread or batch of rolls fresh-from-the-oven. 4 sessions
