Around the World in 60 Days - On a Slice of Bread
This popular course will take you on a whirlwind tour of Europe and Scandinavia for less dough than your travel agent! Each week we will visit a new country as we explore some classic favorite breads from England, Ireland, Sweden, Poland, Russia, France, Italy, and Portugal. Detours and hijackings to other countries are also possible! Using proven recipes and techniques, the instructor will help beginners overcome yeast anxiety and expose seasoned bakers to some new recipes. This is a “participation type” course; each student will take home a loaf of bread or batch of goodies fresh-from-the-oven. We guarantee you'll have fun on the trip, and you don't even need a passport! 8 sessions
Note: this class is now called International Breads and is usually taught in two 4-week parts so you no longer have to sign up for all 8 weeks.
